Dance has been a constant thread throughout Jenifer Jones’ life.
Born in Duncan, Oklahoma, and raised in the Heartbeat Dance Studio, Jones started the foundation of her dream at 2 years old. By 13 years old, Jones was an assistant dance teacher and choreographer for Heartbeat.
After graduating from Duncan High School, Jones was accepted into Oklahoma City University’s Ann Lacy School of American Dance and Entertainment. Admission into the program was a pivotal moment for Jones, taking her passion for dance and transforming it into a career. Jones spent the last four years performing, increasing her education, and choreographing; a balance she not only prides herself on, but credits for her well-rounded and constant development. A firm believer in bettering herself daily, Jones has no plans of slowing down anytime soon.
Jones graduated from OCU with a Bachelor of Science in Dance Management in the Spring of 2017. Jones currently lives in Oklahoma City and sharpens her talents while choreographing for Reclaiming Arts and Heartbeat Dance Studio.
With a strong foundation behind her and a limitless future ahead, Jones sets her sights on owning a performing arts studio someday.
